Aside from giving you added volume, they can help you creates a sophisticated look that you need for those special occasions that come up from time to time.  With a way to keep it looking sophisticated and in place.

Finally girls with finer hair find they can make good use of the pony tail.  It can be a casual way to go on the weekends.  Yet can also be a somewhat elegant look that is both fresh and flattering.  Not only that this is a truly hassle free hairstyle.  Note that using a pony tail can also leave some parts of you're a bit hair wavy afterwards however. That is usually not a problem if you plan on washing it soon thereafter.  And certainly not a reason to not embrace this style.
