Dry Shampoo For Days You're Too Busy To Wash Your Hair

We all know in our heart of hearts that it's wise not to lather up every day.  Especially when there are several reasons for not doing so that make so much sense.

By that I mean not washing your hair daily is easier on your strands, easier on your color and easier on you as you have more time to sleep in perhaps.  And let's not fool ourselves that third one may be the key.  Kidding.  Yet who wants to walk into the office or class in the morning sporting an oil slick where your freshly washed hair should be because you overslept?  This is where dry shampoo comes in.

Okay so maybe you've already heard good things about dry shampoo on those no wash days.  Yet "dry" and "shampoo" may not exactly be words you'd use in the same sentence comfortably, now are they?

But guess what?  Advances have made this old product quite new, modern and convenient.  Anymore there are plenty of options that are free of any trace of nasty leftover white powdery residue - which was the drawback of older instant spray shampoos.  Which just has to make this the perfect solution for those days you choose not to suds up yet want to get rid of some flatness or to just add a bit of lift to your second day hair.

But say you've been on the lookout for an amazing dry shampoo but frankly finding the perfect one that works with your mane hasn't been easy.  What should you look for?

Ideally you want one that will sop up any excess oil, clean up sweat and eliminate odor.  Adding a bit of volume at the root level would not be too much to ask now either, would it?

Then here's all you do.  Typically with these sprays you want to keep the can 10 to 12 inches away from your head and aim for your roots.  Let it sit for a few to give it time to work.  Then brush it through.

How To Use Dry Shampoo

Cleansing aside, this styling product is also great for creating added volume or if you need a quick style fix when running from work to something that evening be it class, a date, or some other social get together.  Just don't expect this to leave your hair feeling as clean as if you had actually washed it.

Yet given the convenience, I'll bet you'll love this on-the-go beauty product as much as I do.  You can skip a day and your hair will still look awesome.   Plus you'll feel better since you know the less often you wash your hair the healthier it will probably be as you are not stripping away the natural oils from your mane. This is all the more important if your roots get greasy and your ends tend to be dry.

Dry shampoo is a fantastic way to add volume and restore the sex appeal of second day hair that might be just a little bit greasy.  This is a life-saving beauty secret for busy women on the go too.  All it takes is the time to spray, tousle and brush and you can freshen you hair even when you don't have the time to wash and style it.
